In 2017 The Roof continued its travel to ICAF in Rotterdam, where we held The Roof for three days with a continuous walk in the neighborhood. We became researchers who chose different tools to measure the existing parameters and potentials of one place. For example, at one of the location, along the days, we invited people living in the building to join us into a final action: holding up the Roof all together. Moving further we inhabited a leftover backyards and green fields with an instant karaoke show or a rapid marshmallow BBQ where The Roof became our blanket or our rope to connect. During the three days, day by day, walks by walks from being alien researchers, we became part of the routine of the neighborhood, inviting people to accept our slightly “disturbing” presence.
